Discover a New Approach to Healing
You’re invited to a transformative presentation exploring the shift from Trauma Informed Care to Healing Centered Care.
Are you ready to reimagine how we support individuals impacted by trauma?
Trauma Informed Care has been a valuable step in recognizing the prevalence of trauma and its impact on individuals. However, it primarily focuses on the negative effects of trauma. Healing Centered Care takes a more holistic approach, centering on strengths, resilience, and collective healing.
Key Differences:
Trauma Informed Care: Focuses on the presence of trauma, its impact, and how to mitigate its effects.
Healing Centered Care: Builds upon trauma-informed principles by emphasizing individual and community strengths, resilience, and the creation of healing environments.
Benefits of Healing Centered Care:
Empowerment: Shifts focus from victimhood to agency and resilience.
Holistic Well-being: Addresses the whole person, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.
Collective Healing: Fosters community-based approaches and addresses systemic factors contributing to trauma.
Cultural Relevance: Integrates cultural values and practices to promote healing.
This presentation will delve deeper into the concepts of Healing Centered Care, providing practical examples and strategies for implementation. You’ll gain valuable insights into how to create environments that foster healing, resilience, and well-being.
Don’t miss this opportunity to support healing and growth in our communities.
